Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise is set to be a man in demand.
With the Premier League season coming to an end, attention will swiftly turn to the transfer window that officially opens next month, but teams are already busy at work to improve their squads for the following campaign.
Manchester United have already confirmed the departures of Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial, but captain Bruno Fernandes’ future is under question. He has called on new decision-makers INEOS to match his ambition in order to keep him at Old Trafford, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and co likely to step up their plans in the near future.
Arsenal may have already confirmed one piece of business, signing goalkeeper David Raya to a permanent contract. The Premier League Golden Glove winner is on loan from Brentford, but the Gunners have teased that he will stay beyond the current season.
A strong end to the season for Chelsea ensures that Mauricio Pochettino is likely to be backed once again. There are financial regulations to consider but the Blues will be in play once again in the market as they aim for the necessary players to help Pochettino’s young squad blossom.

Tottenham are said to be pleased with how Pedro Porro has performed this season but they are interested in signing an alternative option in right-back for next season to allow for rotation.

Newcastle are reportedly willing to pay £15million to sign Aaron Ramsdale this summer.

The versatile is attracting plenty of interest ahead of the summer transfer window following his impressive debut season in the Premier League, with West Ham and Wolves monitoring his situation closely.

Sean Dyche speaks out on the future of Dele Alli
Everton manager Sean Dyche has revealed that he hopes to help Dele Alli return to the football pitch, despite his contract at Goodison Park expiring this summer.
Asked about what the future holds for the England international, Dyche explained: “We’ll see. My main aim and I’ve spoken to him endlessly about it is just to get him back on the pitch, get him playing, get him smiling, get him enjoying it again.
“He’s had a real tough time, it became clear, in his personal life but that’s well and truly parked, he looks good in himself, he seems well in himself and on the training pitch, it looks like he’s moving well.
“Getting back the love of the game is the end goal that I’ve spoken to him about, regardless of his situation with us or anyone else for that matter, getting back to that love of the game and love of what he does because he’s a top player – without a doubt – when he’s fully fit and running.”
Manchester City rejected by wonderkid
Manchester City have reportedly been turned down by Valencia starlet Jaume Dura.
Spanish outlet Relevo claim that the 16-year-old is considered to be one of Europe’s brightest prospects, with his future to be made clear in an official announcement soon.
City along with Real Madrid and Barcelona were all very interested in the teenager, with the English side going so far as to make an enquiry to Valencia, but Dura will instead be staying with his current team.
Crystal Palace hint at Michael Olise sale
Crystal Palace may have hinted that Michael Olise is leaving this summer, before quickly deleting their social media post.
The Eagles were previewing their final match of the Premier League season against Aston Villa by posting a picture of Olise on X (formerly known as Twitter).
However, the caption ‘The Last Dance’ suggested that it would be the final time that Olise pulls on a Palace shirt, rather than the message of the team playing for the final time this season.
Mauricio Pochettino shuts down transfer question
Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino refused to answer questions about the Blues’ summer transfer plans as his future remains in doubt.
When asked what he believes needs to happen at Chelsea before next season, Pochettino replied: “You need to ask the sporting directors, the owners. Football is a dynamic thing – things can change.”
The Argentine then stressed the importance of confidence from the top, with a clear message to co-owner Todd Boehly.
“It’s important to have the backing of the owners, they are the bosses,” Pochettino added. “It is the best for the club, the players and the fans. We know very well that coaches are always judged about the result in a very short period. It is important to feel.”

Tottenham set striker priority
Tottenham have reportedly decided on Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez as their top priority striker signing this summer.
HITC claim that Spurs are prioritising a forward and midfielder before next season, with the Mexican seen as a superior asset to the other candidates on the market.
After 26 goals in a stunning Eredivisie campaign, Feyenoord are likely to demand in the region of £42million for Gimenez’s services.
Chelsea line up £51m PSG deal
Chelsea are reportedly eyeing up a potential £51million swoop for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte.
That’s according to TBR Football, who claim that Chelsea could go back in for the former Sporting man, after missing out on a deal a year ago.

EXCLUSIVE: Dwight Yorke pinpoints two Man Utd targets
Manchester United icon Dwight Yorke wants to see the club targeting Crystal Palace duo Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise this summer.
Yorke has called on Erik ten Hag to upgrade his attacking options after a toothless season in front of goal.
But he also wants United to decide on Mason Greenwood’s future once his successful Getafe loan ends.
“I think [United must strengthen] the wide areas,” Dwight Yorke explained when speaking to Express Sport on behalf of Crypto Casino.
“It depends on what they’re doing with Mason Greenwood; that’s another thing they need to solve at some point.
“I’ve identified two players who I feel are really good, the two boys at Crystal Palace, [Eberechi] Eze and [Michael Olise]. I think those two are fantastic young players.
“One plays at the No. 10, one plays on the right as an inverted winger. I think those are really exceptional players; I don’t know why people wouldn’t think that. They would really add value to Man United.”

Liverpool confirm Thiago departure
Liverpool have confirmed that Spanish midfield maestro Thiago will be leaving the club at the end of the season, when his contract expires.
He is the second player to officially be announced as departing by Liverpool today, following Joel Matip, with the pair unable to feature regularly this season due to fitness concerns.
“Before he even came to Liverpool I believed that if you really love football it would make a lot of sense if you watched Thiago Alcantara play,” said Jurgen Klopp. “Technically, he is so, so good. A talent who could play in any team in the world and it was a privilege to have him with us.
“I already knew a lot about him as a footballer before he got here – what he did at Barcelona and Bayern Munich, how could you not? – and I could not have been happier when he decided to take on a new challenge with us.
“From that point on I got to see him up close and all I can say is ‘Wow’. Most importantly, he was part of a new story and helped us develop as a team because of his special qualities.
“I know injuries have been a frustration for him and also for us but the level that he was able to play at when he was available was incredible. This is what I will remember.
“Now he will go in a new direction with his family and we can only wish them well. Wherever he plays next I would be happy to watch. An artist of the game who will only ever paint the most beautiful pictures.”
Thiago has also posted his own heartfelt message on social media to the club, thanking them for the journey they have been on together.

Joel Matip to leave Liverpool
Liverpool have confirmed that centre-back Joel Matip will be leaving the club when his contract expires at the end of this season.
The defender has been a mainstay under Jurgen Klopp but spent the majority of this season injured with a ruptured ACL.
However, he will be remembered fondly for his big contributions to Premier League and Champions League successes.
“In all the years that I have been involved in football, I am not sure I have come across too many players who are more loved than Joel Matip. I’m not even sure it would be possible to say anything bad about him,” said Klopp.
“A wonderful professional, a wonderful footballer and a wonderful human being – we have been blessed to have him with us for as long as we have and now all we can do is wish him well as he heads off in a new direction.
“Joel’s qualities as a player are there for all to see and as a club we have benefited from them since the first moment that he joined. I don’t think he has had too many headlines over the years but he has only ever been a very famous figure within our group.
“I have said before that if there was one person who wouldn’t care if he was underrated it would be Joel, but the truth is we could not have rated him more highly. Not only has he set the standards for himself, he has set them for others and this is one of the main reasons why his time here has been so successful.”

Manchester United change mind on Leny Yoro
Manchester United have reportedly made a U-turn and are now considering the possibility of signing £52million-rated defender Leny Yoro.
GiveMeSport claim that Sir Jim Ratcliffe was initially unconvinced that the Lille centre-back should be the Red Devils’ leading target.
That was largely due to his initial £71m price tag that has since been reduced, with one year left on Yoro’s contract, ensuring that United are interested once again.
David De Gea return teased
Former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has hinted at a return to football, nearly a year on from departing Old Trafford.
The Spanish stopper has been without a club since his contract was not renewed at United at the end of last season.
However, he has taken to social media to post “Loading…” to hint that a return to the sport is imminent.

Arsenal drop David Raya hint
Arsenal may well have hinted that they are going to activate the purchase option in goalkeeper David Raya’s loan contract.
The Gunners can buy him outright for £27million from Brentford, but are yet to officially pull the trigger despite picking up the Premier League Golden Glove.
However, Raya has been included in the photoshoot for Arsenal’s 2024/25 kits, which would be a surprise if the plan was for him to return to the Bees.

Manchester United’s Michael Olise plan
Manchester United are reportedly keen on Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise this summer and have begun work on bringing him to Old Trafford.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that the Red Devils have been made aware of the Frenchman’s release clause, which is thought to be complicated, but they have taken necessary steps to be informed.
United have been scouting Olise for over a year and he has been given the green light from their talent-spotters.
However, triggering that deal would need to have the backing of United’s head coach.
Erik ten Hag remains under pressure and it is unclear whether he will continue next season, forcing United to wait on Olise until either Ten Hag is sacked and replaced or backed.
