Leny Yoro could join Man Utd while Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta hopes his transfer plans come together
Premier League clubs are ramping up their transfer plans now that Euro 2024 is over. The likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool will all see summer targets return to their clubs over the coming weeks, making discussions easier.
Several clubs are in need of major surgery this summer. There was a familiar feeling at United on Monday, with Erik ten Hag already bemoaning the quality of performances after a 1-0 defeat by Rosenborg.
The Red Devils have signed Joshua Zirkzee and are attempting to close a deal for Leny Yoro. Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham are also hoping to have their own plans wrapped up over the coming weeks.

Galatasaray want bold McTominay and Hojbjerg double deal
Galatasaray have announced their interest in signing Scott McTominay and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
The Turkish champions fought off Fenerbahce to win their division last season, and their rivals have responded by appointing Jose Mourinho.
Galatasaray are keen to remain ahead of Fener and have big plans for the summer transfer window. They want to McTominay from Manchester United and Tottenham’s Hojlberg.
“We are interested in a player from the Premier League and Manchester United,” vice-president Ibrahim Hatipoglu told CNN Turk.
“There is nothing more natural than the high cost of this. There are discussions regarding his transfer fee. For us, the total cost, including transfer fees and player receivables [salary], is important at the decision point.
“Once the negotiations with both the club and the player are completed, the cost becomes apparent.”
Hatipoglu added to Haber Sarı Kirmizi: “McTominay’s transfer is being discussed.
“Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is a good player, he has many suitors, he wants to see all option.”
Man Utd ‘prioritising Leny Yoro’
Man Utd are reportedly prioritising Leny Yoro over a move for Matthijs de Ligt.
The Athletic report that only one of the two defenders will be signed by United, if they can agree deals.
Given that De Ligt would be the much easier transfer to complete, it is assumed that Yoro is United’s priority for the centre-back position.

Ederson ‘agrees’ Man City transfer exit
Man City Ederson has reportedly agreed to join Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the goalkeeper has said yes to a potential move.
However, there is currently a considerable difference in the two clubs’ valuations.
City have reportedly turned down a £25m offer and expect closer to £42m.
Liverpool ‘confident’ over deal for England ace
Liverpool are reportedly ‘confident’ they can land Marc Guehi this summer.
The Crystal Palace defender shone for England during Euro 2024.
His performances earned rave reviews and will have caught the attention of top clubs.
According to Team Talk, one of those teams are Liverpool.
It is claimed that the Reds are ‘confident’ that a £65m deal can be struck.
The 24-year-old centre-back, formerly of Chelsea, has two years remaining on his contract at Palace, making a potential sale likely.
Palace are understood to be hopeful of agreeing a new deal with Guehi.
Arsenal hatch plan for Spain hero Mikel Merino
Arsenal are reportedly set to launch a bid for Spain hero Mikel Merino.
The former Newcastle midfielder scored a dramatic 120th minute goal against Germany in the Euro 2024 quarter-final.
He went on to win the trophy with Spain.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Arsenal have a long-held interest in the 28-year-old and are preparing to make an offer to Real Sociedad.

Man Utd have Leny Yoro alternative
Manchester United hope to hear a decision from Leny Yoro on his future over the coming days.
However, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is reportedly launching a clever plan to ensure the Red Devils do not fall short if the Frenchman decides to join Real Madrid.
According to Sky Germany, United have made enquiries about Bundesliga champion Jonathan Tah over the past week.
Tah was widely expected to join Bayern Munich this summer but that move has not yet materialised.
It could allow United to steal in and snap up the experienced centre-back, 28, should Yoro opt against a switch to Old Trafford.
