Just over 24 hours of the summer transfer window remain, with clubs across the Premier League and beyond scrambling to get their deals over the line.

Manchester United are among the clubs expected to have a hectic end to the summer window, with at least one incoming – potentially more – on the way before Friday’s deadline.

Chelsea’s hunt for a striker looks to continue deep into the final hours of the window, while Arsenal too are still finalising their comings and goings.

Newcastle unlikely to sign Marc Guehi

Newcastle are extremely unlikely to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace before tomorrow’s deadline.

Palace have been firm in their valuation of around £75m.

Newcastle are understood to have made at least four bids for the England centre-back, who has captained Palace in each of their three matches this season.

But no agreement has been reached and Guehi is now set to remain at Palace until at least January.

Romelu Lukaku joins Napoli

Romelu Lukaku has finally ended his ill-fated Chelsea career.

The Belgian is set for a reunion with his former Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte at Napoli.

The Serie A side have completed a £25m deal for Lukaku.

It remains to be seen if Chelsea can agree a move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

Chelsea earn transfer kitty boost ahead of Osimhen push

Chelsea’s hopes of landing Victor Osimhen this summer have been given a boost after they confirmed the departure of Romelu Lukaku.

The striker is reported to have joined Napoli as part of a £25million deal from the west Londoners.

Chelsea are said to still be interested in Osimhen’s signature, but a deal is still some way off yet.

England squad announced as youngsters dominate Carsley’s first pick

Away from transfers for a moment, Lee Carsley has announced his first England squad in interim charge and it has a very youthful feel.

There are no spaces for seasoned veterans like Kyle Walker, Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, James Maddison, Ivan Toney, Aaron Ramsdale or Lewis Dunk.

Levi Colwill has been included, as has teenage sensation Rico Lewis.

Jack Grealish is involved too, as is Harry Maguire.

Manchester City are not expected to make any more signings in the transfer window.

The Blues have already penned deals for Savinho and former captain Ilkay Gundogan.

However, with less than two days of the window remaining, Pep Guardiola’s side will not re-enter the market for reinforcements.

That’s according to The Times, who report Guardiola and his staff are content with the current make-up of the squad.

Arsenal eye move for Bayern Munich ace Kingsley Coman

Arsenal are reportedly eyeing up a late move for Kingsley Coman as Mikel Arteta plots to bolster his wing options.

It’s reported by the Daily Mail that Coman has emerged as a late transfer target for the Gunners.

Arsenal submit £17m hours after accepting Aaron Ramsdale deal

Arsenal have reportedly submitted a £17million offer for Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia.

The Gunners are looking to add a back-up keeper to their roster after accepting an offer from Southampton for Aaron Ramsdale.

If signed, Garcia would become Arsenal’s third permanent goalkeeper signing of the window.

David Raya’s move from Brentford was made permanent earlier this summer, while youngster Tommy Setford also penned a move to the club.

Time running out for Chelsea to secure Osimhen deal

Time is ticking for Chelsea to secure a deal for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

It’s reported by Fabrizio Romano that the Blues are in talks with Osimhen’s camp about a move, but so far the two haven’t been able to agree on a salary.

It comes amid heavy interest from Saudi Arabia, but Osimhen’s priority is to stay in Europe.

Man Utd star set to join after Ugarte now undergoing medical

Sekou Kone has reportedly arrived in Manchester and is due to complete his medical for Manchester United.

The teenage sensation has been dubbed the ‘next Yaya Toure’ and will initially join the under-21 set-up while he adjusts to life in England.

Kone is expected to provide an option at holding midfield in the long term, but as for this season, Erik ten Hag will likely call upon Manuel Ugarte for that position.

The Paris Saint-Germain man is due to sign on the dotted line at United later today.

Arsenal close to completing latest deal in busy week of transfer action

Arsenal are closing in on completing a deal that will see Aaron Ramsdale leave the club for Premier League Southampton.

It’s reported a fee of £25million (add-ons included) has been agreed between the two parties, with a medical expected to happen before the end of the day.

But the base fee is only £18m, with the rest of the £25m figure made up of performance-related incentives.

One such clause is Southampton will pay Arsenal an extra £1m if they remain in the Premier League this season.

Raheem Sterling offer prepared amid Man Utd link

Manchester United are reportedly prepping Raheem Sterling’s contract offer, just in case the Red Devils strike up a late deal for the forward.

As per GIVEMESPORT, Sterling will be offered £150,000 per week by the record English champions.

A sharp decline on his current wages at Chelsea, it’s also claimed Sterling will have to settle for a squad role at the club as well.

Sterling, who has played for both Manchester City and Liverpool, emerged as a shock target for United earlier this week.
